| Sherpa stands for Nepalese Mountain Man, directly related to Sir Edmond Hillary- the first person to climb Mt Everest. Just like Hillary, this tip is made in New Zealand and is meant for rugged use for crutch users. Specific for outdoor use. | |
 | Available in 1 inch inside diameter only. Made out of car-tire grade rubber for extremely high traction. The tip can bend - so rather than walking on the edge of the tip, you get full traction and better control, preventing slipping. |

The red arrows indicate the force being applied to the crutch. The blue arrow on the ground illustrates the opposing force due to friction and the tip's grip applied the other direction to prevent the crutch from sliding. Note that the more force applied, the greater the opposing force due to friction and grip, resulting in a very stable crutch. |
