Farabloc for Amputee Phantom Pain

Amputee Phantom Pain Relief with FarablocFarabloc fabric looks and feels like linen but is made up of extremely thin steel fibers and nylon. It helps to stimulate blood circulation, producing pleasant feelings of warmth, relaxation and calm. It was originally invented to help ease phantom pain experienced by some amputees, but has many other applications. Farabloc is usually sewn into a sock shape, matching the residual limb, but we provide our clients with additional comfort by incorporating Farabloc right into the lamination process of prosthetic sockets.
